The company’s modular solution can be configured as a decoder. This achieves greater versatility while ensuring low latencies from the beginning to the end of the workflow. Recently, the Sivac-one solution has acquired this capability. The solution, based on the high-performance SMP1000 card, is available on two different platforms:

FRAME: single-unit chassis and hot-swappable redundant power supply, with capacity for three cards. These cards can be configured as encoder or decoder.

COMPACT: Portable and lightweight version, weighing less than one and a half kilograms. It is based on an SMP card with external redundant power supply. COMPACT can be configured as an encoder or decoder.

Each Sivac card can be configured as a 1x 2160p50/60 4K UHD (HDR, WCG) video encoder or as a multi-channel solution with up to 4x FHD/HD/SD channels. In both cases with 8/10-bit pixel depth, 4:2:2/4:2:0 chroma and with up to 16 stereo audio channels embedded on each card.

The cards are independent and have a wide range of interfaces to suit the needs of each project: 12G/4x3G/HD/SD-SDI, ASI and IP UDP/ RTP with FEC SMPTE 2022-1/2/7 (Multicast/Unicast).

Latencies being achieved with this solution are less than 150 ms (encoder + decoder), making it the ideal solution for interactive video applications such as sports contributions, live events, news, remote production and even signal returns.
