Leader Electronics to showcase test & measurement innovations at Broadcast Asia 2024

Leader Electronics Corporation is set to showcase its latest advancements in test and measurement technology at Broadcast Asia 2024. Taking place at the Singapore Expo from Wednesday, May 29 to Friday, May 31, Leader will be stationed at stand 6C1-5, offering a glimpse into three cutting-edge instruments tailored to facilitate the media industry’s transition across various spectrums – from SDI to IP, HD to UHD, and SDR to HDR.

Among the highlighted offerings is the new ZEN-W Series, featuring the LV5600W waveform monitor and its rack-mountable counterpart, the LV7600W. Both instruments, born from the esteemed LV5600 and LV7600 predecessors, are meticulously crafted to meet the rigorous demands of broadcast media test and measurement environments. Notable enhancements include a WebRTC interface for secure remote control and monitoring, alongside an upgraded operating system ensuring heightened security and future adaptability.

Additionally, Leader’s flagship ZEN Series will be spotlighted with expanded capabilities since its inception in 2018. Comprising the LV5600 UHD/HD/SD SDI/IP waveform monitor, its rasterizer equivalent LV7600, the portable LV5300A waveform monitor, and the LV5350 waveform monitor along with the LV7300 rasterizer, the ZEN Series now boasts augmented functionalities such as SDR Full Range display, CINEZONE presets catering to various camera systems, HDR/SDR/HDR conversion via 3D LUT file import, and enhanced audio-related features, among others.

Moreover, Leader will unveil the LT4670 SDI/IP test signal generator, a versatile 1U full-rack width solution designed for both traditional SDI broadcast facilities and hybrid SDI/IP setups. This new system comes equipped with an array of features including genlocked black burst signals, tri-level sync pulse generation, and synchronous control between devices, ensuring seamless integration and workflow continuity. Optional augmentations include GNSS synchronization, PTP synchronization, and support for multi-rate SDI test signal outputs, making it a comprehensive tool for test signal generation in modern broadcasting environments, company states.
