With the beginning of the new year, Michael Schüller is launching his new company Qbics media GmbH in Munich. The young company is all about modern software and innovative solutions for creating synergies in editorial workflows and managing media content. The clear focus is put on broadcast- and media-related companies in Europe, that are ready to head into new ways of planning and producing up to date news and magazines.

Michael Schüller has now, after leaving ANNOVA/SCISYS (which was recently taken over by CGI), founded a new enterprise in Munich. Topics such as “Newsroom” and “Storytelling” are on focus, as well as the idea to optimize editorial workflows through top-notch consulting services and state of the art software. It is key for Qbics media to work together with its customers in order to innovate the ways of producing news and managing content overall.

The mission of the Qbics media GmbH is to establish innovative solutions for editorial systems. They are approaching this goal by facilitating effective interfaces, thus closing possible gaps that might occur between applications currently used in the daily business. This allows for mastering many old and new challenges in planning and production of news and magazines for Online, Social Media, TV and Radio.

However, proficient services are not all that is offered; from the first day of business onward Qbics media will operate as exclusive sales partner of the FONN Group from Norway – including manufacturers 7Mountains and Mjoll – and therefore provides full-service, cloud-based Software solutions for the story centric planning of News as well as acquisition and management of multimedia/cross media content. The portfolio of Qbics media is extended by the entire product suite of the XEBRIS Solutions GmbH from Vienna, who has been developing an innovative and also web-based system for planning traffic-news on radio.
