Videosys Broadcast introduces bidirectional camera control at IBC 2024

Videosys Broadcast, specialists in camera control systems, has unveiled a new bidirectional radio camera system at IBC 2024. This new system leverages IP technology to streamline wireless workflows, integrating forward and return video, camera control, and intercom capabilities into a single link solution.

According to the company, the new series, showcased in Hall 11 at booth B37, features ultra-low delay, 10-bit HD HDR (upgradeable to 4K) for forward and return video paths, along with robust camera control and intercom functionalities over a transparent IP data trunk. This flexibility caters to diverse environments including TV studios, live events, corporate gatherings, and Houses of Worship.

Colin Tomlin, Managing Director of Videosys Broadcast, emphasizes the company’s expertise in delivering high-performance camera control and RF video links: “With over 40 years in the industry, we understand the needs of our global customer base. Our new BiDi IP link series reflects this, offering scalable solutions that are easy to deploy and tailored to meet the challenges faced in modern broadcast environments.”

Key features include rapid setup and scalability for multiple cameras at a competitive price point, along with multi-zone functionality ideal for multi-studio operations. The system also supports steady cam operators by providing access to talkback, return video, or teleprompter feeds through a single wireless link.

Videosys Broadcast will be present at IBC 2024, booth 11:B37, from September 13th to 16th.
