AEQ to unveil its new Capitol IP Plus compact digital console at IBC 2026

AEQ to present Capitol IP Plus digital console for radio and television at IBC 2026

AEQ has announced its attendance to IBC 2026, taking place from 11 to 14 September at the RAI Amsterdam, to present Capitol IP Plus, its compact digital console for radio and television. The company’s booth (8.C55) will feature live demonstrations of its solutions, practical applications and guidance on their implementation in radio, television and corporate communications, as the company has claimed in a statement.

Capitol IP Plus has been specifically designed for live control and to adapt to different workflows and operating environments.

Built around an ergonomic 10-fader surface with an integrated touchscreen, the console features audio processing that includes a 4-band parametric equalizer, filters and dynamic processors. It provides up to 32 sum buses for programme, auxiliary, monitoring and clean-feed signals, local IP connectivity, and Dante/AES67 capabilities.

Capitol IP Plus also offers the “Virtual Capitol” option for remote operation from a computer, Bluetooth connectivity for communications management, and functions required for broadcast operations, including live signalling, cough suppression, fader start, talkback and automation of external equipment.

Its fixed-configuration M_Core Plus engine offers different expansion options to adapt the system to the specific requirements of each installation. These include a redundant power supply, dual digital telephone hybrid functionality and a 32-channel Dante IP expansion.

Finally, the console incorporates monitoring and control functions, including independent studio control and monitoring, configurable VU meters, multiple headphone outputs, CUE monitoring, remote PFL, N-1 outputs and programmable control of external AEQ equipment.
