Gravity Media announces its new remote technology solutions for the Sheffield Shield Final

Gravity Media will be in charge of broadcasting the Sheffield Shield Final as part of an expanding broadcast and technology partnership with Cricket Australia to deliver coverage of cricket across FOX Sports, Kayo and the Cricket Network.

Gravity Media Australia has accessed its fleet of state-of-the-art high definition outside broadcast trucks, and unveiled and implemented new remote broadcast production technology involving cellular and cloud-based solutions to deliver in excess of 350 hours of coverage over the 2022-2023 summer.

CELBO is a new live stream technology that allows remote production of events through cellular and cloud based technologies to deliver individual camera and audio feed coverage to Gravity Media Australia’s Production Centres in Sydney and Melbourne.

This allows Gravity Media Australia and Cricket Australia to create, direct and deliver a complete broadcast production, including on-screen graphics and multiple camera replay capabilities.

The introduction of CELBO is designed to simplifying logistics, reduce the production “footprint” at events, deliver greater flexibility in resources and enhance and streamline production and technology workflows for Gravity Media Australia and its partners.

The Sheffield Shield Final will be held across 23-26 March and will be broadcast on FOX Sports, Kayo and the Cricket Network.
